Collaborate with application development teams to understand and analyze business requirements, completing database design and delivery;
Promote high-availability database architecture improvements, including architecture design and transformation, high-availability platform management and maintenance, incident drills, and resource management;
Enhance the database operations knowledge base, maintaining application project information, standard documentation, operating manuals, design and change logs, etc.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven expertise in database operations and management.
In-depth knowledge of database systems and cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS.
Proficient in MySQL, RDS, Redis, Redshift, and MongoDB, with familiarity in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
Extensive experience in database architecture design and implementing high-availability solutions.
Well-versed in backup and recovery strategies, monitoring tools, and ensuring compliance with security standards.
Hands-on experience in backing up and restoring a variety of databases.
Strong understanding of incident response procedures and database performance tuning methodologies.
Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work seamlessly in cross-functional teams.
